Psellus believes in the necessity to combine technical capacities
(web scanning, newspaper digitalization, ...) and trained
human analytic capacities. One information will have a meaning
to a trained and experienced professional that will evade
a poorly trained or junior employee. Psellus ensure that
all documentary surveillance is conducted directly by one
our trained consultants and never by a trainee, student
or sub-contractor.
Psellus ensures your organization have access to all relevant
data regarding your sector or area of professional interest.
Psellus relieves its clients' employees from the time-consuming
burden of data collection, allowing them to focus on the
creation of value to their corporation, while widening their
awareness to their professional environment.
The news process at
Psellus
Every early morning, Psellus receives documents and data
from its different sources (newspapers, magazines, professional
publications, specialized databases and sources...). The
paper sources are immediately digitalized and combined with
the rest of the data. This mass of information is then segmented
by topic and industrial sector, and redirected to the economists
according to their area of specialization. Each economist
is to read each information and write a summary, including
key words not always expressed in the articles. The information
is then stored in our database. Each week, an economist
is required to write an executive summary on its area of
interest, based on the collected information, with an emphasis
to its significance and impact to the industry. A monthly
report is also written, with a focus on the industry global
trends.
